DatA-IL
An innovation community harnessing the power of Data and AI to create positive impact.
The community is a collaborative initiative led by Nova Project, a part of
Social Finance Israel (SFI), along with the Ministry of Economy, the National
Digital Agency, the Innovation Authority, and in partnership with the Prime
Minister’s Office, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Ministry of
Innovation, Science and Technology.
The community's goal is to unlock the potential of public data and to develop
data-based solutions using artificial intelligence for the challenges facing
Israeli society. DatA-IL brings together government entities, local authorities,
businesses, nonprofits organizations, investors, academic institutions, and the
public to create a fertile ground for collaboration and groundbreaking projects
in the field.
Operating concurrently in different ways, the community facilitates physical
and virtual events, hackathons, working groups, learning sessions, networking
opportunities, and more. Additionally, it disseminates knowledge through the
publication of reports, position papers, and by fostering connections among
diverse leaders and stakeholders in the information, data, and artificial
intelligence fields in Israel and worldwide.
